Thanks for your pics, I really enjoy engine changing posts. I used to enjoy doing things like this myself but my enthusiasm waned as I got older.
I'd have to wonder what the shop did that caused your engine to spin a bearing after picking it up. That is way too coincidental, it almost sounds like they started it up without any oil in it and then realized their mistake. If you weren't there I guess you'll never know.
