You may want to consider lithium rechargeable LED lighting for tasking: Cooking, eating, chores that require extra lighting. Then USB recharge the lamp(s) during the day.

Operation:
1. Power button: Press and hold for two seconds for maximum brightness mode. Press again for power saving mode. Press a third time to turn off.
2. SOS Button: Press and hold for two seconds for red/blue SOS mode. Press again to turn off.
3. LED Indicator stays red when charging and turns to green after being fully charged.
4. When the light has low power, the indicator light will flash red light.

I can vouch for the fact that this is one bright floodlight. Pure white flood no rings no lighting blotches just like a floodlight. Use magnets to hang on range hood, over top the dining room table, even for reading at night. Look for NEODYMIUM N52 magnets on eBay because the housing on the light is powder coat black. The magnets will stick hard even to 18-8 stainless steel. Use sheet petal pads over fabric to stick to the lamp. One charge lasts about five hours on bright setting
