so it can give you the SOC, when batteries are being discharged
AFTER being fully recharged
aka count the ampHrs out and display a percentage of charge state
Ummm I think they took the SOC out of the latest versions of the MT50 per my meter. Those items in the menua are not there...
I read and read and figured it out...
So I have equalization off. Im not going to use that That 14.* v whatever is meaningless.
What I set the boost to will be the bulk amps and set point.... Then when that is reached it will go to constant volts with tapered amps for time I set.
As far as why it did not come out of float I can only guetimate it needs to reach the boost reconnect volts for an amount of time based on this sentence..
I did have that set to 12.9v and maybe it wasnt there below that long enough. As my load ( a toaster oven kept going off and on.)
Ill test more tomorrow.
In Float charging stage, loads are able to obtain almost all power from solar panel.
If loads exceed the power, the controller will no longer be able to maintain battery
voltage in Float charging stage. If the battery voltage remains below the Recharge
Voltage, the system will leave Float charging stage and return to Bulk charging
stage.
