Never forget the FIRST scare. some forty or fifty years ago...

CRANBERRIES CAUSE CANCER! Scared the hell out of everyone. Bottom line, mice were injected with enough chemical that would equal an individual EATING A RAILROAD TRAIN BOXCAR full of cranberries DAILY.

Same thing happened with the sweetener CYCLAMATE. Meanwhile a few hundred thousand Americans died of diabetes complications.

And people wonder why "I bailed out"
