We've had ethanol for years and years now.
I just don't buy all the scare tactics about "it will ruin your engine" in the states that don't have it yet.
Heck before I came down here in Florida I 'assumed' all the states had it!
If any of all that hype was true all the rest of us who have been using it for over 20 years would have cars that spontaneously exploded after putting ethanol in them. Nothing further than the truth. I've had several favorite trucks I couldn't bear to part with turn over 200,000 miles on them.....with no problem.
My present Toad, MH and SUV ALL have been running on ethanol.
As far as gas going bad? It goes bad after 30 days. As far as gens, lawnmowers etc that are left to sit? Stabil is a mainstay for anyone living up North where equipment is not used during the winter. And IMHO should be used more often all over when a tank of gas is left to sit any length of time.
