Wanna know fact from fiction about ethanol? Ask the Brasilians. They hate it. It's so bad, every car has to have a small gas tank to start the engine with. Once running the engine is switched over to alcohol. Ethanol is the one of the more massive con games of the 21st century. Archer Daniels Midland and speculators are laughing all the way to the bank and US Fracked crude is being sold to China.
Avgas contains a lot of aklylate which is brewed with isobutane, sulfuric acid and caustic soda in refineries. It is good stuff. Strike that - it is a superb gasoline component. Us wogs have to stick to burning distillates of food.
