If you are really losing spark then you may have an issue with the low oil sensor OR the ignition module.
The low oil sensor when oil level is correct should read as an open circuit. When low on oil, the oil level switch grounds out the ignition module, cutting off the spark.
These sensors use a sealed "reed" switch which is affected by a magnet, float has a magnet and when oil is correct level the magnet is far enough away from reed to not trip it.
The sensors can be a single wire or two wire, single wire typically will have a easy to remove connector, two wire often do not have a connector and you will have to follow the wires to the ignition switch or module.
Found some info on how to bypass the oil senor on the EU2000i for troubleshooting that oil sensor which might be helpful.

If disabling the low oil does not help then you may need to just bite the bullet and find the nearest repair shop and have them go over it with a fine tooth comb.
