I have an EU2000i Companion that I would like to use for regular things like power tools or even a toaster! What type of adapter would I need to plug into the eu2000i companion in order to get 110? ...

Both of the Companion's outlets are 120 volt. Just plug into the 20 amp outlet, or use an adapter with the twist-lock outlet.
