I have an EU2000i Companion that I would like to use for regular things like power tools or even a toaster! What type of adapter would I need to plug into the eu2000i companion in order to get 110? ...

Both outlets are wired in parallel (with each other and also with the parallel cable banana jacks). The only difference is that the 20A outlet is protected by the circuit breaker, the L5-30P is not. Power is available at all outlets any time one or more of the generators is running.
