I had new 6'ers and new 12'ers, and there ain't enuff difference that you'd ever notice any difference under normal operation.
But the 6'ers lived a somewhat longer life,.....maybe cuz I treated them better, I don't really know.
But, having a choice, I buy the 6'ers, mainly cuz I like the series connection.
