He has not fixed it yet and the spray he used will just make things slippery. One just has to sit down over a bucket with the end of the connector inside and remove the little screw that will get lost when checking each end.
I have overhauled my cords many times in 35 years. It is amazing how funky they can get in one season.
Since I am not real handy with electrical kind of things, I was going to go look for a cord...but are you saying I may see the issue if I take the ends off the cord? If it is a ground, how do I know which it is? BTW the turn signal turned for either right or left does the same thing.
