Looks like you're right, I wasn't aware of that difference. just watched the installation video over at the Pinnelas site (well, it's hour long, I skipped through it), and it appears that the kit uses a hollow bolt with a vacuum fitting to replace the bolt holding on the valve cover. You install a small diaphragm fuel pump that runs from the vacuum then mount the remote tank fitting on the top of the case.
Seems pretty reasonable for $249, not sure anyone else has a kit that thorough with all the right parts.
This guy has a You Tube video of a cap-type system on the 6500 but no mention of where you can buy one.
