Fan-Tastic Fan with a MaxxAir cover

So I am finding out I really need to add a fan to my 5er to get some air circulating in the evenings. I am wanting to add something like a Fan-Tastic fan and figured I would install it in the bathroom roof vent. I currently have a MaxxAir2 covering the vent and can't open the hatch all the way like before I had the MaxxAir cover. Does anyone run this setup and if so does it still work well with not being able to open the hatch all the way?

Also how noisy are these larger fans compared to the typical little bathroom fan

    I installed 2 of the MAXXFAN Deluxe fans on our travel trailer and we love them. 1 to push and 1 to pull or both pull, etc. when needed. They are also quite ... IMHO.

    I have a Fantastic fan with the Max air 2 cover. It works with no problem. I chose The Max 2 over the fantastic fan cover because I preferred Max Air's mounting arrangement.
