Fan-Tastic vent fan thermostat control

I have a Fan-Tastic vent fan that is not working.
Think it might be the control unit on the wall.
Is there a way too bypass this control or a way to check to see what the issue is.
This is a 2002 model Lakota by Holiday Rambler, (Purchased new).
The unit says it is a Honeywell T810C 1038.
Thank you.

  • First, check the fuse. Second, touch the two wires connected to the thermostat. Third remove the garnish and interior trim and check the plunger switch and speed control switch with your DMM. If all those are operating normally, get a new motor.
  • Not working, meaning not spinning around at all? Check the plunger switch that stops the fan when the lid is shut - bet that is the issue. ST
  • It's very simple, if the thermostat control has two wires to it, simply jumper them together. the fan should operate then.
