FANTASTIC FAN?????

have a bathroom fantastic fan and i think the lift motor gears striped since when i turn it on the motor turns but the fan does not open.... part 6051-05 (motor) is there a way to make this hand operational and use in just manually? looks like the gears are worn on the motor part. thanks for any help on how to fix this...

    Yes i saw that on the newer motors, mine is a older one and doesn't have that feature. thanks

  • CALLED DOMETIC who now owns fantastic and no more freebies or life time replacement... found the motor on ebay 29.99... dealer here in vegas wanted 61.00... thanks for the reply's.

    Had many lift motor problems - they just sent me a whole new remote controlled fan unit - my motor home is 7 years old
