I read somewhere that if you leave the old converter hooked up it fool the other one into thinking the battery's are more charged then they are ?
If the power max cuts out at 75% that would better for battery life but would not be ideal for dry camping which is 100% what we do. The only time its plugged in would right before a trip or if I thought the battery's we're low. Which hasn't happened yet with the solar then again we haven't had any rain in the nine months I've had it.
I would just like to be able to run the generator for a couple of hours and not have to worry about running the heater all night
