hoosierdaddy47, I had the same problem with a bathroom faucet. I know what you are saying about the tooth brush. My cure was not a change-out of the faucet but adding a "kitchen type aerator / sprayer" did the trick. Any Hardware store or even Amazon has them for 6 or 7 dollars. Believe me this will work provided your current bathroom faucet has a threaded end to receive the new sprayer. Get the one that swivels and you can direct the flow to the center of the sink if you want to. Copy and paste the link below to view one of the adapters. I don't think there is any other choice with the type that also operates the shower. That is how mine is and although I did replace the faucet selection was very limited. It has a similar faucet to what I started with.

Only other option would be to install a regular faucet and then re-plumb the shower.

He has a shower wand that is connected to the sink faucet instead of the shower having it's own faucet.

I haven't yet but am going to as soon as I get home from this trip. Both bathroom and kitchen. Standard house fittings will work. Going to make sure I DON'T replace with other low flow ones though.

I have only found 2 models with the shower diverter on a sink faucet- both have the same setback, unfortunately.

I don't know what a shower diverter is, but yes, usually replacing with a standard household faucet is easy.

Haven't done bathroom but I replaced my sink faucet with something purchased at HD.
