Fender Skirt Metal Brace

Question

2014 28' Keystone Passport ElitePassenger side dual-axle fender skirt ripped off on our last trip.  I believe it was because the hanging metal brace had snapped leaving little support for the skirt against the wind.I have found replacement skirts online but I am not sure if they come with replacement metal braces too.  Does anyone know if they come with the brace and if not, where can I purchase a replacement brace(or at least what is the correct search term/nomenclature for it)?

You can buy the material you need at most any big box or mom and pop hardware store.  You might have to do a bit of fabrication, but the OR stuff is nothing more than a strip of sheet metal, so go for it.

Very few OEM's offer a center brace as a replacement part. You just make one out of flat metal. Doug

I've found that the "braces" are usually just pieces of insert molding. You could do a lot better by getting some aluminum angle form the HW store and fabricating something better.
