With a very tight rig (but not tight-enough) has anyone here tried a filtered positive pressure fan to keep cigar-ash fine dust from passing through window and door seals?
Hi Mex'
Many years ago (in 2005) I brought my old VW Eurovan Camper up to Burning Man... that place is the very definition of "dusty". In preparation, I made a wood and cardboard box which sat on (and sealed to) my roof over/around my MaxxFan. The box was covered with several layers of foam filter media over household pleated-paper HVAC filters and all of the intake air into the van was drawn through the filters by the roof fan. The goal was to create a filtered-positive pressure airflow environment just like the one you are describing.
As we all know fine dust & ash are very challenging to manage, but in the end (despite looking goofy) I do think that my filtered intake air setup worked well at reducing the amount of dust inside the van, although it's impossible for me to assess how much difference it made percentage-wise. At any rate, It most certainly reduced or even eliminated the dust that would have otherwise snuck in through the leaky window and door seals.

Good luck!
