The RV will be an out of town work and recreational vehicle. Financially, used telecom jars make sense, especially since I was more or less forced into a remote start generator with a rack that will make theft difficult.
It looks as if these are similar in cost to the liFE4, but have ten times the cycle life. They can be discharged at C10 which is pretty amazing. Service temperature is -50 to +60 C (-58 f to 140 f).

Don ... thanks much for the link. They may get there eventually with just the right battery technology for vehicles. I only hope that the finally battery solution doesn't require such a messy and consumptive manufacturing process as to be worse on Mother Earth than the affects of fossil fuels.
