I do not have fond memories of EZ Red hydrometers. One of my clients purchased a PALLET of EZ Red hydometers. I grabbed one group 24 battery.

A dozen hydrometers later specific gravities varied from 1.245 to 1.305

That is absurd.

So wait until you get a reliable brand and model before pronouncing judgement.
