I'm sick of campgrounds draining my funds. I'm ready to do more boondocking and I'm heading out West, where there are more opportunities to do so.
If I pay a guy to install these for me (new batteries and inverter), what's a fair price? And how long should the job take? Thanks allot.
How exactly do you intend to CHARGE those new batteries ??
Does your class C NOT have a generator ??
If not, WHY not ??
There are several SIGNIFICANT problems with an inverter that big:
The cables to the batteries needs to be HUGE.....and so do the batteries. To produce 3000 watts, you need 12 volts at 250 amps.
That is NOT the best solution to most problems.
In fact it might CREATE problems bigger than what you are trying to solve.
Honestly. What exactly are you trying to accomplish here ??
