No- that model isn't that smart (the new ones are)- it basically just senses 120 volt power and switches to it if available, but if the element is bad, it will still indicate Elec, it just won't cool.
Chris...thanks again. Then it would seem this is a circuit board related issue? After I check the 5 amp fuse, and if it is OK, then I should just purchase a new board?
I should mention back in the Fall there was an issue with the RV converter putting out high voltage. I noticed the lamps on the refrig eyebrow were all flashing. I concluded it was AC ripple. I was concerned it may have affected the refrig circuit board. Do you think this may have been the case and now the board has gone bad?
