The refrig continued to run and cool just fine on LP. So this morning I removed the cover on the lower circuit board. This is referred to as the Power Supply Board. To remove the cover there were 2 Phillips screws and then about 5 wires and the AC cord had to be unplugged. Once the cover was removed I re-plugged the wires and test at the board for 120V. The voltage tested just fine. On the board there are 2 bus type fuses which I removed, visually inspected and then tested continuity. They tested OK. I also tested the AC heating element and it measure 38 ohms which indicates OK.
Then I went inside the RV and moved the switch on the refrig eyebrow from LP to AUTO. Much to my surprise the refrig remained on ELEC and has not switched to LP. It seems to be working OK now and has been doing so for the past 30 minutes.
So...at this point I'm going to let the refrig run to see if it continues to remain on ELEC as it should. The problem could have been corroded spade connections. Later today I'll clean the spade connections and reassemble with hopes the refrig will continue to perform properly.
I'll update this thread later today.
Again...thanks for all the help and lets hope this was an easy solution.
This could be a bad ground connection. I would check those and clean the ground connections then see if your 120 comes back. And this includes any ground pins going to the PC board.
