Heck, 5 amps is too much for most ciggy plug designs.
They make for a detestable electrical connection.
Everything runs better when they are removed from the circuit.
I've been happy with a Wagan elite 400 watt PSW. I've watched it provide 435 watts continuously. Very small size.
It comes with a ciggy plug, but says not for use with more than 120 watts. I'd halve that number.
