They don't say if it's flat/four down towable. I'd be interested if it was.... I looked into the Tesla Cybertruck and they told me it wasn't going to be 4 down towable to that wasn't an option. .
It is done...but rarely. Most people with a full size truck use it as a tow vehicle. - thomasmnileExplorerUnless the wheels can be 'disengaged' from the drive system, it wouldn't seem possible without damaging the drive system. Maybe in time, but I'm not aware of any EV currently in production that can be flat towed.

I wonder how soon you will be able to tow 400 miles on a single charge then recharge in less than 15 minutes. Like my current F-150.
Give it 5 years for battery technology to advance and fast charge networks to expand. This version is targeted more towards contractors that need a work truck rather than long haul towers. It maxes out at 300 miles of range (not while towing, though it can tow up to 10,000 lbs), and includes a 2.4KW or 9.6KW inverter. So you can drive to the job site, power your electric equipment all day long, then drive back home and charge overnight.
Though I suspect most of them will be sold to suburbanites and used to haul purchases home from Costco. Bobbo wrote:
What is that a 35 gallon tank and 12 mpg? Don't be trading that in on the Lightning.
