to me it sounds like clasic heat soaking, which 460's are famous for as the fuel lines run pretty close to the exhaust manafold. if you are confident it isn't that you could always try the go for a drive untill it does it and then take a peak down the carb to see if the fuel is boiling in the carb, asuming it is a carb motor. if it is you might get away with one of thoes plastic spacers under the carb. the one I had in a old truck we ended up going to a electric fuel pump with a regulated return and secondary filter in it when it was starting to have thoes issues, as well as wraping the fuel lines in header wrap to keep the heat off them. but even a vaccum leak could cause somthing like this so its one of thoes get it to where it is doing it and start wiggleing things to see if it goes away, then hope you can remember what you wiggled when it does 😂
