One feed to the pink side and the other to the green OR as he shows above, positive lead from one 12V set and one from the other . This provides better balance if you are drawing or charging at high current. Which you probably will be.
Also, when connecting or disconnecting the feed line, for safety, ALWAYS ground (negative)is last on and first off. This will prevent nasty surprise if the wrench slips while connected to the positive post.
I always remove my wrist watch (metal strap) and wedding ring and wear safety glasses when working with batteries. I also have the handle end of the wrench insulated either with rubber tubing or a few layers of PVC electrical tape.
