Four slides one switch

2007 Challenger 35 CKQ
Four slides with single switch control sequenced hydraulics. The manifold on the pump has four knurled knobs, one for each slide, that is back seated (turned all the way ccw)when sending full pressure to each actuator. When it is desirable to move out just two of the four slides, I turned the knurled knob (fully cw) of the slides that I DID NOT want to operate with the result being that the two came out about 1/3 of the way. I am not strong to push them back in. How do I get the slides to not move? Can I add three other switches with four solenoids (one for each knurled knob) so that I could have true individual control? Help/ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • I agree with donn0128. When I turn one of my knurled knobs that slide does not move at all.
Yes you could add the extra switches and solenoids. And that would give a lot more freedom and ease of individual controls. Probably not too expensive if you do it yourself. But should not be necessary if the manual valve is working correctly, especially if you only want to do it on rare occasion. If you want to do it frequently then the individual solenoids may be worthwhile.
  • I have selector valves and when closed that slide does not move. Sounds like your selector valves are leaking or you do not have the valve fully closed.
