Fresh water Hose

Well I have to ask..... Should I screw the ends of my fresh water hose together? I always do when I'm on the road because it makes it easier to handle and it won't drip in the storage area and I use the hose again at the end of the day. So today I finish flushing and filling my fresh water tank after disinfecting it and I'm coiling up my white/blue stripe water hose and I get this stupid question in my head. Should I screw the ends together.... We are going to be riding around locally and probably won't use the hose for a couple of weeks..... I thought I remember seeing someone post about this but couldn't find the post or remember the details.....
