fridge not staying on (faulty circuit board ?)

I have a Domestic 3-way fridge that will only stay on for a few minutes whether I put it on ac, battery or propane. One of the locals said it should run on propane even if the circuit board has malfun...

Yes.....DC voltage should stay constant.

It will indicate whether you have good dc voltage to fridge and that your dc voltage from battery/converter is maintaining when fridge turns on.

If constant then battery/converter is not problem and problem is fridge controls.
