Although you may have problem getting a good color match, I'd highly recommend using Plasti-Dip. They make this stuff in white & black and it comes in liquid or spray-can. Easy to apply. After about 3 or 4 coats you'll have a fairly thick rubber like coating that protects much better than paint. Doesn't chip. I use it all the time on small welding projects. Works much better than paint and it's very easy to touch-up. FWIW, some folks have even used black Plasti-Dip to "black out" their entire vehicle. It's available at Wal-Mart and Home Depot.
