Freezer section cools first (so it gets the highest cooling effect) then food section cools (it gets lowest cooling effect).
The thermistor is the sensor for the temp setting.......making the fridge cycle on/off to maintain cooling effect in food section.
Freezer section is going to get cold whenever fridge runs.....food section (getting the lowest cooling effect) needs the t-stat control.
In short.......temp control operates off thermistor which is located in food section. Need to regulate food section temp.
