Yes, clean the burner and chimney.
I had a pile of soot fall off the chimney and land on the burner blocking the flame.
Also, intermittent propane problems (running for 5 min then cutting out) could indicate a bad regulator at the tanks. My furnace would run briefly then cut-out; a new regulator fixed it. But the furnace uses a lot more propane than the frig, so maybe not ... - footsloggerExplorerCheck and see if you have strong blue flame at the burner. If you have a flame, but it is weak, you may have a clogged burner jet. Remove the jet and soak in alcohol and blow compressed air through the orifice. Do not poke a wire or needle into the orifice.
If you have a good flame, but the gas shuts off, you may have a bad thermocouple. The thermocouple senses the flame, and if it doesn't feel heat, it will shut of the gas after a short while. - csamayfield55xExplorerI just went through this. What worked for me was to pull the propane line off the valve leading into the burner. I then blew compressed air through the line and dislodged something in there and now it is running great

- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIDo stove top burners light.......ALL of them and flame is good on them??
IF YES..........
Fridge propane line may just need 'demand' to get propane flowing so you may need to reset fridge and try gas mode a few times to get the propane flow established at fridge burner
IF NO (stove top burners not right) then you have a propane flow issue
Valve out propane....wait couple minutes then SLOWLY open propane valve - Painter3066Explorernone that I could see.
- Crazy_RayExplorerWhen was the LAST time it was CLEANED?
- Iraqvet05ExplorerAny black soot near the burner vent?
