front axle seal leah on freightliner
I have a seal leak on oil lubed hub and am wondering how far I can drive to have it serviced if I were to top up the oil?

Cops look for streaks, oil or rust on wheels. Be sure to have them use genuine STEMCO seals and seal savers and apply the correct sealant to the axle spindle before driving the seal saver on with a driver. The correct lube is straight mineral oil like what is used in Fuller transmissions. Hope this helps.
