OK I hope I explain this right, We have Electronic Jacks and the Front Jacks won't work with the up/down switch on the 5th wheel. BUT they do work with the remote. DH bought a new switch and installed...

X2 on the old standby testlight. The test light will tell you wether or not you have power to the circuit or not whereas the voltmeter, directions are simple to understand, will tell you how much voltage you have, if any, in the circuit also once you learn the volt meter you will find many many more uses for it.
