It NEEDS to be fixed. Suburban will guide them if they have a problem figuring out what is causing it. It is a HEAT LP gas flow problem. You can narrow it down by turning the LP off and the unit will NOT make that noise when no flame. Look at my previous post for the causes of this noise. Doug
