Furnace is acting up... NT-30k Suburban

OK... How come everyone else can find things on the internet, and I cant??
I spend about 1-2 hours yesterday morning looking. And I have been using the internet since it started.

I just pulled up the ebay listing of the motor that Shastagary found and its the exact part I need ($175 ouch). I was all over ebay yesterday using every possible search term thinkable.

... going to put on my tin foil hat now...
or maybe put tin foil on my laptop?

When I measured the shaft diameter, then went over to the fan blades (attaches with set screw to shaft) to measure the collar hole diameter, they were the same at 0.300 in. I did a double take at first... then I realised, there can be no wobble allowed. lol

Need to do one of three things now..

-buy another motor
-buy an equivalent generic blower motor
-rebuild

Rebuilding as shastagary suggested may be the next likely path.
The motor has bent metal tabs on either end where it can be opened.

Yesterday, I pulled the motor and took pics and detailed dimensions. It had a part number of 231165 stamped on it. No other useful info such as the actual manufacturer. But the literature shows the part number to be 231166.

I did as Gary suggested and ran the motor while dripping motor oil down the shaft. At the end I was mixing lithium grease with the oil to try to get some thicker stuff to go in. The unit ran very happily last night. Although the shaft did wiggle so I don't know if I will get weeks or months from this effort. In any case it buys me time.

found one but ouch the price is high suburban 231166 i went to a motor rebuilding shop and bought bearings and brushes and rebuilt one of mine. brought the disassembled motor with to match up parts. it lasted another 15 years until i replaced the rv.

231166 is the right number but it seems to be an orphan.
You may need to have yours rebuilt

found one at american motorhome rv in the uk for e188.00 his chart shows a cross referance number of 231226 as well

... there's no calling anymore. And the online chat guy says he doesn't know anything technical. lol.
