Furnace noise

We have a 2000 Fleetwood Terry that we are living in while our house is under construction. Lately I have noticed when the furnace is getting ready to start blowing there is a "scream like" sound that occurs for about 10-20 seconds The fans blow and it heats well. Just don't know what to do about the sound. Must mean something but have no idea where to start looking for the problem. Propane levels are full. Would appreciate any help that's out there.

Ready for summer!

The furnace in Dad's Motorhome has done this every 2 years since it was new.

He uses 3-in-1 brand oil that says it's for sewing machines, the bottle has a telescopic tube that pulls out of the nozzle, it gives enough reach the bearings can be oiled with the motor in place.
  • I agree it is probably the bushings/bearings in the fan motor, they are dry. usually not serviceable but I have bought some time by taking the motor out and dripping some oil on the motor shaft next to the bushing and turn the fan by hand and let some oil wick into the bushing. There is usually no way to lubricate those motors and a new motor is the fix
