Just got back in from my experiment and it appears that I can run either DC and propane or AC and propane. I disconnected the battery to check this. Now, from the responses so far, I'm not sure 1) if I have a converter (I must?) and 2) if it will choose AC and propane over DC and propane if battery is connected and shore power is connected. Do I have to disconnect DC in order for furnace to be controlled by AC? Is that what you're trying to tell me, rjxj?
