travel trailers and 5th wheels use 12 volt for the furnace controls... most park models...even when looking like a travel trailer...use 120volt AC to power the furnace. As a side note....if you have an accident and no battery....no insurance...and not having a battery can cause converter failure as the battery serves as a type of capacitor in the big picture
