Furnace starts out great & then later not?

Two trips in a row now are furnace starts out great!
Lots of heat & by morning when we wake it blowing cold.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Suppose to another cold night.

  • I think there will be more information available on the Tech Issues Forum. I will move the thread.

  • Check your battery connections and voltage. IF it is not getting charged well the voltage may be dropping with the heavy load of the furnace motor. Once the voltage goes low enough the fan will turn but not engage the sail switch.
  • Check the air intake for the burner to make sure it isn't restricted (spider webs, mouse nest, etc).
  • We're is all this?
Because we turned it back on later & it worked fine again.

Faulty sail switch causing the propane to cut off at some point during the night? Perhaps the terminals are corroded and when they heat up and expand they lose contact, cutting off the propane.
