  • `had rv repair guy come, crawled into area had me turn up thermostat & funace came on, thinks I had air bubble in line. thanks to all for your help
  • You need to locate the make and model of the furnace!
It is possible that it is dirty and needs to blown out or vacuumed good. The sail switch maybe inoperative. Could be bad circuit board or high temperature cut out.
It is hard to say with out make and model to help.
  • ron 3rd.blower comes on, no heat can't see any circuit board, will check propane bottles, 5'er is 2008

What model furnace? Does the blower come on but no heat? If so, it could be the sail switch. Blower does not come on? If so that's a different set of potential problems including a bad circuit board.

Most are remarkably simple in design and operation and there's only 2-3 things that ever go wrong with them. If you can see the circuit board and it's a newer generation furnace, it will have LEDs on it that flash an error code. You can then look up the code in the manual. If you can get access to them, they're normally pretty simple to fix once you figure out what the problem is.
  • I actually had an issue where my stove would light but furnace wouldn't because tanks were near empty. Lift the tank to make sure there is plenty of propane in it.
