FYI: "Infinitely" Long Test Leads
Make really long test leads by attaching wire and alligator clips to the neutral and ground (not the hot) on a pair of 110 cord ends. Use an extension cord to make it as long as necessary.

in the IT industry this is sometimes called a "turbo cable", except the clips are on hot and neutral, who needs ground.
