FYI: "Infinitely" Long Test Leads
Make really long test leads by attaching wire and alligator clips to the neutral and ground (not the hot) on a pair of 110 cord ends. Use an extension cord to make it as long as necessary.

Thanks, Dave, I like it! I have strung out a bunch of wire on a few occasions just to get a measurement, and this idea is much neater.
