GARMIN RV 760

Looking for good and bad and tricks to programing. I have had mine for a month or so and really love it but have not really put it through its paces with the RV since the RV is in storage for the winter. I have had a few Garmins before this but all for cars/motorcycles, this is the first RV GPS I have owned. LOve the size of the screen at 7". Seems to find me immediately even when I have shut it down on way home for faraway. IF you have one, how often do you update it ?
Thanks!
  • how often do you update it ?

Download Garmin Express. It will tell you when updates are available and load them if you wish.
  • Thanks, I did download it so they will email me when an update is available or should I go in and look. I will look now actually and see what I can find. Thanks.
  • Garmin Express should pop up and tell you when updates are available (at least it does on my computer).
  • I did Garmin Express and it did say there were updates, BUT when I tried to down load the new map and updates it gave the message, NOT ENOUGH space and to get a SD card to download it on. I tried again and it did look like it all downloaded so not sure if I got what I needed, will try today to see if it all works,
Thanks for the help. Do like this GPS, very quick to find you if you have not had it on and am in other city or state, great graphics, traffic is very accurate, have not figured out how to have it tell me an alternate route but will or maybe it does if you are heading for the traffic jam.
