Programmed low ampere hour discharge tightly controlled recharge standby use.
Emergency lighting.
In that venue they outperform flooded.- calcium calcium or AGM.
They tolerate being dicharged and staying discharged for a longer period of time.
But it comes at a steep tradeoff.
Recharging must be done at a low rate perhaps C20
Fast recharging and inappropriately high absorbsion and float voltages cause what I have coined "Clotting" in the gel packs.
