Some standby manufacturers hoot and holler about the incredible lifespan of their AGMs in emergency stanby service. It's sooooooo nice when plugged into a socket and sooooo foolish when running a generator to recharge. Imply an appropriate fixed voltage then let ohms law do its work. Abuse will absolutely stake your life on it raise cell temperatures rather rudely. Look at 10 AGM manufacturers and see 27-differing manufacturer's recomendations.
For my Lifelines Concorde recommends a C20 charge rate later in the manual they say 100-amp charge rate is normal.
Me save thirty dollars in battery life by spending an extra $150 dollars refeuling the generator?
