Generator at High Altitude

I have a Champion 3400 Inverter Generator. I plan on doing some boondocking above 5000 feet in elevation. Will I need to change the jet in the carb or just make an adjustment? Anyone with any experience?
  • I had a Champion 3100 that I ran in CO at around 10,000'. It did just fine charging batteries, it even ran my friends Nuwave oven without issue. It ran on whatever jets were put in it from the factory.
  • Take a look at this:

  • Hi,

I can't speak to Champion, but the Yamaha 3000 can power the roof air at 6000 feet.
