Sure ... if you're smart enough to take it with you in the first place! :R Apparently I'm not, so this past weekend while Pinery Provincial Park (on the shores of Lake Huron) was hit with a significant snowstorm that lasted all weekend and killed power for 36 hrs my EU2000i genset was sitting snug as a bug in a rug in my workshop! :S At least with a 1000 watt inverter onboard we were still able to use the coffee machine and toaster! :B
Note to self - take genset along on every trip, whether or not there's a snowball's chance in H*** it'll ever get used. :W
As for covering, I run mine in the back of my Avalanche inside a noise reduction box so weather is a non-issue but if not I suppose I might put it under a lean to of some sort so it would have some protection from a steady rain.
